Mrs. Scheidel's 9th grade students put their physics skills at work by setting up a speed trap and calculating which vehicles were speeding. #TVPride
The 7th and 8th grade enjoyed a field trip to the Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque. The students enjoyed their day learning about connections to social studies and science units they have studied. The Depot in Decorah made this possible through a generous donation to Turkey Valley. Thank you!!! #TVPride

Mr. Pfaffle helped Mrs. Carlton’s preschool class plant tomatoes and cucumbers in the greenhouse. We are excited to watch them grow! The greenhouse open house and plant sale closes tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 p.m. #TVPride
Last week Mrs. Hageman's 7th grade science class went to the TV prairie to look for evidence of living organisms and human impacts. They are currently studying palm oil plantations and orangutan populations in Sumatra and Borneo to figure out how to slow population decrease and keep the farmers happy. Brrrrrrr! #TVPride

Day 2 of the Chicago trip included visits to the Bean, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, Navy Pier, and Willis Tower. #TVPride

On Wednesday, April 19 the 7th graders traveled to the NE Iowa Antique Engine and Power Show site in Fredericksburg. The students rotated between different stations that were very informational and hands-on covering topics such as wood working, equipment of the past, and tractors. A great time was had by all! #TVPride

In 11th Grade US History, students were tasked to investigate the Abraham Lincoln assassination. Through primary sources, students researched, built connections, and laid out a mind map of the events, people, and places that led to the assassination on April 15, 1865. #TVPride
